What is Project 150?
Project 150 is the name coined for TTARC's appeal for funds to build and equip a
new boathouse -
What has been done so far?
Notable fundraising efforts by TTARC members and associates so far include a sponsored
row (£1017), Brampton coffee mornings (£723), supermarket bag-
Dave Harte's epic row of all seven major Lake District lakes in 24 hours merits special mention and raised a further £490 from sponsors.
Local businesses and individuals have also generously supported the appeal. One local individual (not connected to the club) donated nearly £3000 from a Lands End to John O'Groats sponsored cycle ride he completed with his sons. Together with grants of £4000 from Cumbria County Council and £1000 from the Neighbourhood Forum, external sources have boosted the appeal by a further £17000.
